Birds Eye Chillies

Bird's Eye chillies are a small chilli pepper that packs a big punch! Common to South East Asia, they are known by many different names, including Thai dragon chillies due to their resemblance to tiny claws. Our dried Bird's Eye chillies have been ethically sourced from growers and have been selected for their abundant, piquant flavour and vibrant colour. The chillies are used across many South East Asian cuisines and are becoming increasingly popular. As a tip, if you find yourself in need of an antidote to burning chilli, don't bother with water - it has no effect! Instead, try either a dairy product (yoghurts and milks work best) or honey. In fact, many cultures that serve spicy dishes also incorporate dairy-based sauces to balance things out.
